[ARCHIVED] Sculpture Park Juried Call for Two Site Specific Installations

The Stevens Point Sculpture Park is accepting submission of proposals for two site-specific installations. Artists may submit proposals for either or both projects. Deadline: March 15, 2011

The Stevens Point Sculpture Park has identified a priority need for an artist-designed and constructed Gathering and/or Performance space created on a chosen site within the Park. This space will be permanent and open to the public for spontaneous use year-round and should therefore be able to withstand the elements throughout the changing seasons. The site will be used to facilitate performances such as music, readings, dance, theatre, lectures, celebrations. It will also function as an outdoor classroom for local schools, both primary and secondary. Proposals need to address accommodations for anticipated audiences of up to thirty people.
