[ARCHIVED] Absentee Ballots Available starting Oct. 1st for for Nov. 6 Election

Ballots will be available starting October 1st for City of Stevens Point residents who wish to vote in-person early for the November Election. Voters are reminded to bring proper photo identification.

The first option is to vote in-person. Beginning Monday, October 1, voters can vote at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall.  The office will be open on the following dates and times for in-person absentee voting:

City Hall, 1515 Strongs Avenue

7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, October 1 through October 26

7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, October 29 through November 2

The second option voters have is to submit a written request/application to have an absentee ballot sent to them.

Requests to receive an absentee ballot by mail must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1.  The completed ballot must be received by Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, in order for it to be counted.
