Individuals who wish to vote early in the Presidential Election may vote in-person starting Monday, September 26. Voters must bring proper photo identification. Voters may also submit a written request/application to have an absentee ballot sent to them.
City Clerk John Moe reminds voters that they have two options for voting absentee.
The first option is to vote in-person. Beginning Monday, September 26, voters can vote at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall. Starting Monday, October 24, voters will be able to vote at a temporary satellite office located at 933 Michigan Avenue.
The offices will be open on the following dates and times:

7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday, September 26 - October 21
7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday, October 24 - November 4
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5

10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday, October 24 - November 4
Voters may chose to submit a written request/application to have an absentee ballot sent to them. Requests to receive an absentee ballot by mail must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3. The completed ballot must be received by Election Day, Tuesday, November 8 in order for it to be counted.
Some examples of acceptable Photo IDs include a Wisconsin Driver License, Wisconsin State ID, Wisconsin Driver or State ID receipt, Veteran Health Card ID, U.S. Passport or Card, U.S. Uniformed Services ID, Tribal ID, Certificate of Naturalization, University or College ID that is voter ID compliant. University or College students who do not have an acceptable form of photo identification for voting purposes can contact their school administration to obtain a voting compliant ID card. Clerk Moe reminds residents who have not already registered to vote or those who have either moved or changed their name will need to re-register before they will be allowed to vote.
