Visitors from our sister city, Rostov Veliky, Russia, will be here Oct. 30 - Nov. 7. The group will offer a presentation, “The Great Outdoors in Rostov the Great,” Tues., Nov. 3, 6:30 - 8:00 pm in the Pinery Rm. at the Library downtown. Q&A will follow.
The theme of the week’s visit to Stevens Point is “Creating Green Spaces in Our Cities.” The visit is sponsored by Open World, a program of the US Library of Congress. This is the fourth Open World visit to Stevens Point by delegations from Rostov Veliky in the last 8 years.
