[ARCHIVED] Submit Comments & Suggestions to Mayor Anonymously

Mayor Wiza has implemented a new Comments & Suggestions form on the City website that may be submitted with or without giving your personal contact information. Click the link by the Mayor's picture on the City Home Page or visit StevensPoint.com/mayor.

“This is one of those ‘common sense’ items I talked about during the campaign. We’ve never really had an option like this to submit comments or suggestions to the Mayor or City staff anonymously” said Wiza.

“This opportunity can deal with everything from a cheaper or easier way to do something, to a concern about something the City is doing, to a compliment about City employees that may otherwise go unnoticed.”

The form allows users to enter their contact information if they choose to, or if they want a follow up contact, but it is not required. Comments or suggestions can be entered into the online form and will be sent to the Mayor’s office.

“I realize that I may be subjecting myself to the possibility of some nastiness, since it is anonymous, but we’ll weed through those. I will personally review each comment or suggestion and, if needed, direct it to the appropriate department,” Wiza said. “I’ve even received my first comment already, anonymously, of course. It read, ‘Great idea! Congratulations on your new position.'“
