[ARCHIVED] Comptroller/Treasurer receives Fourth Certified Designation

The Municipal Treasurers Association of Wisconsin has announced that John Schlice from the City of Stevens Point has completed the necessary requirements to renew the designation of Certified Municipal Treasurer of Wisconsin (CMTW) for a fourth time.

The Municipal Treasurers Association of Wisconsin (MTAW) has announced that John Schlice CMTW, CMFA from the City of Stevens Point, has completed the necessary requirements to renew the designation of Certified Municipal Treasurer of Wisconsin (CMTW) for a fourth time.

In an organization of over 500 members, only 88 individuals have earned the CMTW designation, and of that number only 3 individuals have met both the educational and work experience criteria in order to be recertified a fourth time. The CMTW designation must be renewed every 5 years by attending continuing education classes and maintaining proficiency in their area of fiduciary responsibility.

The MTAW and the City of Stevens Point applaud John Schlice CMTW, CMFA on this achievement.
