The Stevens Point Forestry Dept. received a $25,000 grant from CN for trees and landscaping in the new East Park Commerce Center, which is now open for development. The money will be used to plant about 100 trees in the street rights of way in the EPCC.
These street trees will play an important role in calming traffic and safety when strategically placed throughout the park.
EPCC offers tenants great flexibility in site location, size and potential for direct access to Canadian National's main railroad line running from Canada to Chicago. Encompassing over 700 acres, the East Park Commerce Center has been designated a ‘Certified in Wisconsin’ development-ready site by Governor Scott Walker and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
