[ARCHIVED] Police Department to receive Armored Vehicle

The Police Dept. has been notified that they will be receiving a Caiman MRAP military surplus vehicle through the 10-33 Program.

The vehicle is well suited to support officers in rescue incidents, flooding and disaster response, as well as tactical situations. It will be funded through the use of asset forfeitures. The vehicle is scheduled to arrive in early May.
