[ARCHIVED] City Employees - Join Summer Bike Challenge for Fun

The National/Wisconsin Bike Challenge is an opportunity for City of Stevens Point employees to have fun and get healthy this summer. The Challenge starts May 1, but you can join any time before it ends on Sept. 30. Join before May 1 and get warmed up!

Parks Department employee John Quirk has participated the last four years and is available to assist anyone who has trouble signing up or logging miles. Before or after you sign up, contact John and he can make you a member of the City of Stevens Point "Workplace" which lets us compete (for fun) against other workplaces (such as Portage County). We can also create work sites within the City of Stevens Point (Parks, Streets, Police, Fire, Water, etc.) and challenge each other!

Email John or call him at (715) 346-1535 if you need help.

The Bike Challenge awards hundreds of random prizes each month. All participants who reach a certain level of points in the Challenge are eligible for prize drawings.

Have fun, and stay safe! Obey all traffic laws and wear a helmet when riding!
