The Stevens Point Hotel/Motel Special Events Committee is now accepting applications for funding of 2014 Special Events sponsored by nonprofit organizations.
Applications and guidelines may be picked up at the Recreation Office during normal office hours, Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. The deadline for returning a completed application will be November 4, 2013.
The committee and funds were established to be a source for start-up funds to help new and innovative events get started. All events must take place in the City of Stevens Point and the event must be open to the public. The event should provide entertainment for the community and attract visitors to the area.
