[ARCHIVED] Riverfront Rendezvous Performer Casey James on American Idol April 4

Country music performer and 2009 American Idol participant Casey James, who is scheduled to be at Riverfront Rendezvous in Stevens Point on July 5, will be appearing on American Idol this Thursday, April 4, debuting his new single, "The Good Life."

“The Good Life” is the third single from his self-titled, debut which has yielded the top 20 hits “Crying On A Suitcase” and “Let’s Don’t Call It A Night.”

“This is a dream come true,” said Casey. “To be returning to the show as an artist, to sing and play music that I wrote, co-produced and poured myself into, it doesn’t get any better for me! I think ‘The Good Life’ is such a fitting song too.”

Last summer, “The Good Life” was chosen as a song for the highlight video for the 2012 Warrior Games. Hosted by the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Paralympic Military Program, The Warrior Games are an Olympic style sporting event for wounded and ill veterans and current members of the U.S. armed forces.
