The City Clerk’s Office will be open Friday, March 29, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for residents to register or vote absentee for the April 2 election. All other City offices will be closed. In-person absentee voting ends at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29.
Residents should use the Strongs Avenue entrance of City Hall, 1515 Strongs Avenue.
City Clerk Moe also reminded Stevens Point residents that they do not need a particular reason to vote absentee. Voters may also submit a written request that a ballot be mailed to them, although such a request must be received by 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28. Military and indefinitely confined electors have until 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 29 to submit a written request that a ballot be mailed to them.
City residents who need to register to vote may do so at the Clerk's Office until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29 or at their polling place on Election Day. Proof of residence must be provided.
