Winter Sports Area Facilities & Rules
General Information
- Please report all accidents and/or injuries, damage or problems to Park Staff or by calling 715-346-1531.
- The Stevens Point Park and Rec Department staff reserves the right to enforce all park rules.
- Failure to obey rules may result in dismissal from the park premises.
- Area may be closed for private parties.

Toboggan Slides
- The toboggan slides are located adjacent to the warming lodge.
- We have 6-foot and 8-foot padded toboggans available for rent.
- Rental fees: One hour $12; One-half hour $6.
- You can bring toboggans from home to use with the slide.
Warming Lodge
- Staffed during our regular hours.
- Restrooms available during regular hours.
- The warming lodge, also known as the All-Purpose Lodge, is available to rent from March to early December.

Sled & Saucer Runs
- The hill is close to the warming lodge, ice rink, and toboggan runs.
- Air-filled devices (tubes) are allowed on the saucer/sled runs.
- Stairs are built into the sides of the hill.
- One sled run is designated for children six years of age and younger.
- Sleds & saucers are not allowed on the snowboard only run.
- Snowboards are not allowed on the sled & saucer runs.
Sled/Saucer Rules
- No person(s) shall hang onto or grab hold of another person's sled, saucer, toboggan, etc. while riding.
- No defective equipment will be allowed on the premises.
- All riders must face forward.
- No backward or sideways sitting when going down the run.
- No standing or kneeling on toboggans, sleds, or saucers.
- Please use steps and exits when returning up the hills.
- No snowbank jumping.
- See Park staff for metal runner sled use.
- No food or drink on the hill.
Snowboard Run
- The hill is close to the warming lodge, ice rink, and toboggan runs.
- Stairs are built into the sides of the hill.
- One run is specifically designed with basic features for snowboards.
- Sleds & saucers are not allowed on the snowboard run.
- Snowboards are not allowed on the sled & saucer runs.
Snowboarding Rules
- All Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- One person at a time may use snowboard features.
- Use of a helmet is required.
- Ramps and jumps only built by Park Staff.
- No defective equipment will be allowed.
- Please use steps and exits when returning up the hill.
- No snowbank jumping.
Ice Rink
- Outdoor lighted recreational skating rink
Cross Country Ski Trail
- Tracked 2.5 mile cross-country ski trail, not lighted
Snowshoe Trail
- Designated packed 1 mile snowshoe trail
