Fixed Route Bus Service
The Stevens Point fixed bus routes offer a safe, reliable, and affordable option for traveling throughout the community. The city buses are clean, comfortable, and climate-controlled. All buses are wheelchair accessible and have easy-to-use bicycle racks mounted at the front.

Fixed Route Service
  • Four fixed routes provide service year-round: Rice/Dixon, Whiting West Side, East Side/Crossroads, and North Point.
  • Rice/Dixon and North Point hours:
    Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 6:15 pm
  • East Side/Crossroads hours:
    Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 5:45 pm
  • Whiting West Side hours:
    Monday-Friday 7:13 am - 5:45 pm
  • Bus service is NOT provided on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, or Christmas Day.

Stevens Point Transit has a Travel Trainer to assist anyone to learn to ride the bus system safely and confidently. The program is individualized to meet the needs of the rider and all skill levels are welcome to take advantage of this free service. Read More
Transit Freedom Passes Available to Elementary - High School Students
The City Bus has a Freedom Pass for students under age 18 for only $20 that allows them to have unlimited rides from June 7-Sept. 2. It’s a great ways for students to get around town this summer. Freedom Passes may be purchased at Trig’s or Shopko. Get More Information
No Campus Route Service May 18 - September 2
May 17 is the last day of Campus Route service, including the Campus Connection, Campus Shopping, Late Night Transit, and Point Plus. Campus Route service resumes Sept. 3. Please visit us on our Regular Routes this summer. Get More Transit Info
Saturday Campus Shopping Route and Point Plus Changes
Attention Passengers: Saturday Campus Shopping Route Changes - Route now begins at the HEC at 11:15 am, and ends at the HEC at 5:10 pm. Saturday Point Plus Service Hours Changes - New Hours are 11:15 am to 4:30 pm.
