The Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department improves the quality of life for our residents and visitors by offering wholesome programs and activities, providing enjoyable facilities, and preserving the aesthetic beauty of our community.

For years, the City of Stevens Point has been known throughout the state for its fine parks system and the high quality of life it offers. The Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department maintains 670 acres of developed and undeveloped park land.
