EMS Master Plan developed from EMS Study
Portage County and the City of Stevens Point recently
conducted a comprehensive study of community's needs for an ambulance treatment-transport service, paramedical
based, with support of First Responders and/or EMS non-treatment-transport personnel.
ESCi consultants conducted the study and, from the data collected, developed an Emergency Medical Services Master
Plan for Portage County and the City of Stevens Point. In addition to assessing future needs specific to resource
deployment, staffing, and operational policies, the 207 page master plan reviews and analyzes current deployment
of emergency medical resources within Portage County.
