Calling 9-1-1 is
the fastest way to get help in an Emergency.
One thing to keep in mind, however, is that there will be SEVEN SECONDS OF SILENCE before you hear your call start
to ring. DO NOT HANG UP! Your call is on its way as soon as you finish dialing - you just do not hear it happening. Do not call 9-1-1 for non-emergency information! For non-emergency information, contact the Fire Department, Police Department, or other appropriate City Department. If you have a question about non-government issues, whether it's about services for children or the elderly, food, counseling, recreation, health, consumer protection, or other topics, call 2-1-1 to contact the United Way's 2-1-1 hotline. Get more information about 2-1-1.
